2nd International Dance Competition- January 18-21- Toronto- Canada 2023
Winter TEADE CANADA 2022, International Dance Event,invites you to participate in the Second TEADE International Dance Competition for professional dancers, choreographers and students. TEADE ’s competition will take place in Toronto. In this second edition, the contestants will compete in Contemporary Dance style that can be merged to other dance style.
There will be two DIVISIONS:

PROFESSIONAL DIVISION – For Professional dancers & choreographers ( ages 18+) Competing as choreographers and/or dancers.

Registration Fee: $20 ( per entry) + competition fee $170 - includes 1 entry,4 dance workshops, galas performances,plus closing ceremony- Day Trip to Niagara Falls (dinner and transportation included)

Special discount for groups 8+ dancers from the same company ( Registration fee $20 + competition fee $155)

$1,000 PRIZE Outstanding Choreography Award + invitation to present the work in upcoming Danza Corpus Canada events.

$300 PRIZE Outstanding Performance Award

STUDENT DIVISION – For Dance students (ages 13 +) Competing as choreographers and/or dancers.

Registration Fee: $40 ( per entry)+ competition fee $240- includes 1 entry,4 dance workshops, galas performances, plus closing ceremony- Day Trip to Niagara Falls (dinner and transportation included)

Special discount for groups 8+ from the same school ( Registration fee $40 +$210)

Outstanding Performance award: A Gift Card for Dance Classes with Danza Corpus Canada’s instructors.
The finalists will be featured at Winter TEADE closing Gala on January 20 with the announcement of the winners.A diploma will be awarded to all contestants.

A video of a choreography of no more than 5 minutes in length of a solo, trio , quartet or sextet. The filming can be from home, dance studio or outdoors or can be a previous filmed work in a theatre setting. Send the video of the work via mp4 file
